The Wood Project salvages local Victorian Cypress Macrocarpa, a softwood famous for its durability and ability to withstand insect and borer attacks. The Cypress we provide is rated class three inground, meaning that a 50x50mm stake will last between 5 and 15 years. However, we provide posts that are at least 150x150mm in size, which are more durable and assure greater longevity.
As well as Cypress Macrocarpa, we also offer Ironbark. Ironbark is rated class one inground, which means on average it’ll last for an incredible 40 years.
