At The Wood Project, the Cypress Macrocarpa we salvage is a premium softwood. This timber is durable and has great resistance to insect and borer attacks. Rated class three inground, a 50x50mm post can last between 5 and 15 years. Due to this, we provide posts starting at 150x150mm, extending their lifespan.
As a hardwood Cypress alternative, we now also offer Ironbark. With a class one inground rating, Ironbark can last for over 40 years and comes at a very competitive price.
All of our post and rail fencing in Tasmania is milled and mortised by us personally, instantly recognisable thanks to its high quality workmanship.
How your Post and Rail fence kit will look on delivery
Our current processing time for our orders is at least 6 weeks from the date of your deposit. For your delivery, this can be quoted once we receive your postcode so that we can send your kit safely and securely.
